Uh oh ! I thought we might have these troubles.

I was ironically going to choose Benetka for the holdout but then i saw Roscoe was a starting DE1 but had a lower discipline number so i chose him.

Obviously Mexico have been very unlucky but either way one team was going to get the holdout. After following the Raiders for years i've seen a few holdouts drafted outside of Round 1.

Yes this years draft class was slightly weaker than previous years, these players will come through after a season or two but we're trying to put the emphasis on trading and interaction between GM's.

Just like in the NFL you do get some weak drafts. You have to understand its a difficult mix to try to make it realistic. You could say Roscoe ripped up his knee in training camp and then misses the first 4 weeks of the season etc, not necessarily a holdout.

Also i chose Roscoe before the draft as obviously it would be 'cheating' and not fair if i chose a player after i had done Round 1. Roscoe was a starting DE who led his team in tackles for a lineman and was 2nd in sacks, i presumed he would go in the first round.
