Well one of the most active GM's ever in the FWL was Mario Kreiner.

Mario took advantage of one of the teams in the league (Amsterdam) by basically offering several crap players in exchange for one really good player and he robbed the Admirals blind.

Mario was excellent with trades though and continually made huge moves to make his team better. He found the best player at that position, made large trades to get them. He took advantage of some of the 'weaker' GM's in the league.

Instead of just writing 'my wr4 for your DE2' etc he would write little mini novels basically saying you'll be a fool not to take this trade etc !!

Good luck to him though. Austria were one of the weaker teams in the FWL but in the first season he went to 6-8. A few major trades later and he won the FWL bowl the following year and was unlucky not to make it to many other finals.

Sadly he had to leave as he didnt have the time (Not that you have to devote a lot of time to the FWL) but i would like to contact him in the future as maybe he got bored with actually winning all the time. When your team is 13-1 etc where do you go from there apart from 14-0.

To me rebuilding a squad from the bottom is very good and very satisfying when u start winning all the time.

He avoided retirements by getting rid of a lot of older players but also somehow just being lucky really. He also had a very deep squad, he made Austria into an amazing team !
