It seems to me that this is an argument opposed to something that would make teams potentially less powerful. Do you think the adjustments that have been made that make teams (and rookies in particular) MORE powerful were good moves?

We already screw around with the FP system for training camp. Paul cleverly introduced the "sleepers" and adopted the "protected list" so that people can bring more rookies to camp than they otherwise might have. So you can already send more rookies to camp than you otherwise would, thanks to adjustments meant to make the game a little more realistic. Why should we reject an idea that makes rookies act more like real rookies?

(Personally, I'm not sure I like the idea as Paul wrote it, either, and I do think it has the potential to punish the wrong people anyway.)
