See, what if the "sin" of man was merely that we learned to rationalize what we do. Reread the conversations with God afterward. The woman blames the serpent, the man the woman (even God for giving her to him as a companion).

I certainly can not find any clear lie in the story. But what also seems silly to me is that we somehow inherited that sinful nature? The story I was taught about Adam and Eve is that if Adam and Eve never sinned, they would not have passed on their sin to their off-spring and we now all today would be perfect, living with Adam and Eve ourselves.

I’ve never had any Christian ever really explain to me what exactly got passed on, when Sin gets passed on. Was it a DNA defect or what? Does disobeying God change your DNA? LoL
