If you don’t like the way things are then that’s tough for you! Boo Hoo for you! Your life is not easy for a reason and if you can’t see the schooling that is going on in life and the problems, then that’s too bad for you. Are you expecting someone to now pamper you? I don’t really care if you happen to like God because of it or not. If I made the same option as you, to see myself as a victim in life instead of the learner, I too would do the same as you. But that still doesn’t stop me from not seeing myself as a victim in life, going through senseless and random problems in life and all because a screw-up God made mistakes that have to be fixed and in the process, all the suffering is evil. Only a truly evil God would allow suffering and have no purpose behind it. When you see yourself as a victim, you’re then most likely to look out and miss the lessons and instead focus on how unfair your life has been and how wronged you have been and label anything that purposed the way things are in life as being evil. This is the easy thing to do but it takes a lot of courage to step up and say that you refuse to feel sorry for yourself and that you’re going to improve the quality of your life. While instead, someone else in your own shoes will look out in life and be grateful for the problems because of what they have learned and gained from the experience and these are the people who go out and follow their dreams. They don’t look at the problems as a dead-end that make them a victim, they look at the problems as something to learn from, something to overcome and in the process, that makes them stronger as a person and in character. It’s quite amazing how you get two different people, and how they will see themselves in life. One as a victim who won’t take responsibility for his own actions, the other as having to overcome the obstacles. |
