Your story with the elders and their cold shoulder by turning you down reminds me of the Pharisees. They too were like that, their cups on the outside were so clean while on the inside, they were so dirty. They judged everyone and yet, never looked at themselves, they too turned others down just like your elders.

Look at Jesus in the bible, he welcomed all the sinners, he associated with the prostitutes and the tax collectors! The LOW class of people! He never turned ANYONE down who wanted to change and yet your religious leaders turned you down because you owe smeo debt to a landlady?

What a bunch of hypocrites! Are the elders before you who turned you down so holy that they themselves don’t have any faults of their own?
