When the elders turned you down over the absurd reason of a debt you owned to a landlady in which you are in the process of paying off, why didn’t you question their ruling point blank and point out how absurd it was for them to deny you membership to their religion when they themselves are not perfect? Who are they to not let you into their religion when they too have faults of their own? You should have brought this up and then asked them if they have any faults of their own or if they are already perfect for them to deny you membership based on a debt. That’s what Jesus did with the religious leaders and if you’re a follower of Jesus, that’s what you should do with the leaders of that religion for denying you membership to their religion when they themselves are not perfect. If their religion was a religion with perfect people, then they’d have just cause to not let you in over a silly debt. You once said that you’ll speak the truth whether others like it or not. Looks like you had your tail between your legs when it came to the cold and hypocritical elders. |
