Sheol and Satan not stated everywhere that they are interpreted to be.

Satan is not named the serpent in the garden. This is a later interpretation of the story of Genesis. This interpretation is fundamental to the Christian idea that people need to be saved from sin.

If you are not "saved" you need to be sent somewhere, sheol is a nice fit to the ideas of hell. This allows more verses to be interpreted to support the salvation theme.

Satan is presented as an adversary in Job. The book of Job is not as highly situated in Judaism as it is in Christian canon. There are only five books that are considered the precise words of God. So Job can easily be seen as a work of fiction used to show the righteousness of Job.

We have totally different points of origin here so I do not find any surprise in our different feelings about these things.
