Love is:

Love to me is a choice that I made to believe and hope for more.

Love have taught me about myself. Love has made me into a better person than I would have been by myself. Love has opened my eyes to things I would never have seen without it; it has given me joys i could not have felt without it; it has brought me sorrow, but diluted it with hope.

My wife taught me how to love. I thought I knew, but I needed help with expressing myself. My children taught me to feel loved. When they are scared or hurt, and there is no doubt that I could make it all better, I am amazed at the amount of faith they have in me.

All of my parents taught me too. My adoptive family taught me that family love is stronger thatn DNA; my natural parents taught me that sometimes you suffer and swallow pride to do the best thing for those that you love.
