If any of you have wondered, or would like to know how to make a link on this board, [or just about anywhere online] here's a quick lesson:

Its basically as easy as this:
<a href="where you want the link to go to"> Description of the link </a>

In most cases, you want to preceed your url, that comes after href, with http://
Its just good html-ing that way. I can think of a couple places where you don't need it, but its better to be safe, and its only 7 extra characters.

Now, the description of the link can be juat about anything you want, for example:
<a href="http://www.yahoo.com"> http://www.yahoo.com</a> or
<a href="http://www.yahoo.com"> Yahoo!</a> or
<a href="http://www.yahoo.com"> A Search Engine</a> or
<a href="http://www.yahoo.com"> . </a>

Also whatever you’re linking too doesn’t have to be a web page per se, it can be any type of media. Jpeg images would of course be preceded by the url of wherever its at and end with .jpg

The next logical step is making the description a picture, preferably a thumbnail sized pic or linking to a pic. I’ll save that for another lesson. If you’d like to read ahead or learn on your own, you can try http://www.dencity.com/html I think that link is still good... Otherwise, you can do a web search for HTML tutorials. Webmonkey is a good place to go too.
