Subject: Ok, this is still bugging me so I'll have a go

I'm no good at riddles and such, you should see me sweat over a cryptic crossword! However, I've got this theory wriggling away in the back of my mind, based on 3Strikes hints and as I'm in the UK and can't actually SEE the new season (until I get a tape sent) I thought I'd post it here.

Ok, this isn't worked out because I do that much better as I type. I'm thinking in terms of B5 here, chaos and order in balance being the ideal.

Buffy - order and chaos combined. Is she the main battle ground?
Xander - champion of order but will descend to chaos (but find balance in the end?)
Spike - champion of chaos but ascending to order (balance in the end?)
Willow - was order but took to chaos in a big way, now finding balance.
Giles - chaos but became poster boy for order, however his chaos (ripper) side still comes out when required - most balanced?

I see spike/xander willow/giles as mirrors of each other. For a tragedy I suppose that one of each pair could be lost for it still to be 1:1 chaos/order.

However we are left with...
Faith - chaos then embraced order.
Dawn - ???
Anya - chaos then order then chaotic order, she's trying for balance but not doing very well.
Tara - order then died.
Joyce - order then died.

Big Bads
The Master - Order..hey he even was head OF an order!
Angelus - Nothing more chaotic than him!
The Mayor - Order allied with chaos (Faith)
Adam - Representing order (army) but his aim was to cause chaos, helter skelter.
Glory - Order but chaotic in her actions.
Trio - Order (they started with a plan) but descended into chaos.

Interesting that it gets more complicated the further you go through the seasons..1-3 are pretty straight forward.

Hmmm...not sure where I am going with this..anyone want to drag me on a little further here? But NO riddles I beg you!!
