Lacey looked up at them as they entered, reading one of the magasines that Ryan had brought for her the previous day. "Hey" she murmered as her came to her bedside and kissed her cheek, grinning broadly as she looked up at him and then to Robert and Eliza "Hey!" She looked to Ryan again- she presumed he'd brought them both along so they could break the news together, but she was looking for confirmation. // Robert came tot he other side of her bead and took her hand and squeezed it a little as a sign of affection- he'd never hugged her or kissed her cheek- but Lacey understood him and she recognised the affection. He handed her his gift which was in a little box, revealing a small but delicious looking chocolate cake "I know I always tell you it'll rot your teeth but hell... I figured you could do with a treat" He'd gotten maria to knock it up for her, underneath the cake box was another, flatter box. "Travel scrabble!" He heard Lacey proclaim, shrugging his shoulders almost awkwardly "I never really know what to give a teenage girl... I dont have any..." He smirked a little at himself and let his wife to her bedside as Lacey thanked him.
