He was quiet a moment, composing himself, before he spoke. "That's why we've left lots of time until the wedding date... we're not even going to think about setting a date for another eight months... to get back into the swing of our relationship. Dad, I've known for a year now that I wanted to marry her." He watched his father - usually ruthless and disapproving when it came to these things, but knew that Lacey was too close to his heart for him to behave that way right now.
