He was a little bit surprised still, shellshocked maybe, but folded the cheque up and put it safely into his pocket, shaking his head. "Thank you... " He would be able to get Lacey something a bit more.. luxurious than he had initially planned and when he really thought about it, he was excited - though he knew she wouldn't really care whether the ring cost five dollars or five thousand. // She laughed a little bit and patted the girl's hand.
