Bella performed like a star at the shoulders and after that, the foal slid easily away from her and she lifted her nose, arching her neck with a soft whicker for the beautifully colored palomino foal that was produced. Eliza stepped into the stall briefly to help move the foal closer to Bella's head and pull it away from the sac, but then stepped back out to let mother and foal bond. "I think that's a filly."
