Lacey's nose was pretty much pressed up against the grid as she bit her lip and watched with a tingle of excitement and nerves, silently praying everything would be alright, and unable to wait to see the little foal healthy and breathing and standing. She gasped softly as she saw the feet, bouncing up amd down silently on the balls of her feet, her eyes flahsing with excitement that so far things were going well. Lacey hadn't minded too much missing out ont he other foalings- they weren't nearly as important to her- but she had been adament she would be here for Bella's. She'd loved playing with the foals already born though- less playing and more just staring at them over the stall doors all day- but still. All the foals so far had been pretty equally spread with variations of Pablo's marking, and all were stunning, leggy foals. Bella was the smallest of the mares at 14.3 but Lacey imagined that given Pablo's stately estimated heigh of 16.3 that the foal would at least managed to reach 15.2- and would make a fantastic little jumper- what with Pablo's bloodlines and boldness and Bella's spirit. She didn;t take her eyes of Bella but murmered softly to Ryan "Not unless she needs us to..."

The delivery proceeded as it was meant to - first feet, then fetlocks and then a velvety little nose, breaking from the placenta as it should. Bella performed like a star at the shoulders and after that, the foal slid easily away from her and she lifted her nose, arching her neck with a soft whicker for the beautifully colored palomino foal that was produced. Eliza stepped into the stall briefly to help move the foal closer to Bella's head and pull it away from the sac, but then stepped back out to let mother and foal bond. "I think that's a filly."
