She wasn't sure how to handle this and she was hurting too - it was all hard to deal with but she just kept trying to tell herself that it was ten times worse for him and she needed to be supportive the best she could.

  • It was hard for him to accept the weakness - he wasn't used to having to stop to catch his breath after going up three stairs - and he still thought about the victims of the fire every other moment, and all he really wanted was a sense of normalcy back.
