Really...I would have thought that perhaps Noche or another one of his other mates foals would rule seeing how he seemed to hate my mother so...Who am I to judge...I grieve my fathers death...but more so for my mother. For a single moment her thoughts are stolen from the fallen stallion before her, as word of the news hits her like a blast of winter wind, leaving her stripped of the knowledge of what was going on in the world anymore, and of her assurance in their fearless leader, the king. She had not fully understood the king, but then again, did not expect kings to be understandable. His unpredicability had only added to his royally mysterious air. The king...dead? His daughter, the young mare whom she had tried to rival, and had had many'a childish argument with as a filly. She was beyond that now, and had been...but the last she'd seen of the dark-silver mare was before she'd learned to put things aside as she now knew to, and had as a mare.
