Subject: For a single moment her thoughts are stolen from the fallen stallion before her, as word of the news hits her like a blast of winter wind, leaving her stripped of the knowledge of what was going on in the world anymore, and of her assurance in their fearless leader, the king. She had not fully understood the king, but then again, did not expect kings to be understandable. His unpredicability had only added to his royally mysterious air. The king...dead? His daughter, the young mare whom she had tried to rival, and had had many'a childish argument with as a filly. She was beyond that now, and had been...but the last she'd seen of the dark-silver mare was before she'd learned to put things aside as she now knew to, and had as a mare. They were but fillies...and she was dead ? >>> |

's message, ""Tare? Really...I would have thought that perhaps Noche or another one of his other mates foals would rule seeing how he seemed to hate my mother so...Who am I to judge...I grieve my fathers death...but more so for my mother. I and Tare are the only family she has left...and I don't really know Tare...father took his favorites away for a long time...mother was very sad withought her children"" on 16:10:55 01/21/02 Mon
At this, her heart stilled for a moment, lingering in the intense longing for a time when such things had not happened, that she might go out and have that child-like bitterness and hot-anger towards the princess that she had had, but now regretted...
Their absense in her world seemed to make it shudder, and to turn it around until even she could not recognize it. The king, and his daughter, the princess, were...dead?
Thoughts such as these whirled through her mind in the first few seconds after news came to her ears and set her mind in motion, and she watched both Death and Dusk before her, and heard them speak, though their words only hit her and did not register. Her mental barrier, though, quickly installed itself, as such thoughts were those which she feared, for her life seemed to turn everything into an uncertainty in her world. Only one thought now remained- Her eyes cut downwards, landing upon the once-again unstirring form of Gangsta. He needed help, and Othello was nowhere to be seen... Though she attempts to prevent it, her mind works slowly, still weighed down by those thoughts she'd hidden from herself, those of the terrible news. She ducks her head roughly, as if pushing her face, and the mind inside, closer to Gangsta, she might force herself to be troubled by nothing more than of him, as she tries wildly to come up with a solution, as all others were caught in the news alone...
