Subject: The stallion stands still for a moment, absorbing it, and then a cascade of emotions overtakes him, and he cannot decide whether he most wants to leap the moon, buck for sheer pleasure, or pluck a star from the sky to give to the only mare he'd ever love...and she loved him. Finally he understood what he desired most...he only wanted to be with her, and it didn't matter from there...let the world end around them, but he would not bat an eyelid if she were only beside him. Finally, he reaches out and nuzzles her tenderly.

In reply to: Cobweb 's message, "Though she had prepared herself for some news completely detached from her own self, she had hoped he might say things such as those just spoken. Even then, she is shocked to hear them. For a moment, all else fades away... The ever-rising sun, the billowing clouds, and the playful breeze seem to her to no longer exist. Had she heard him correctly? Could there be such a love as the one he spoke of? Could she ever deserve it, all of it? But there was one thing she did not question: She did not wonder if she could want anything more than to bask in his affections and to return them. >>>" on 03:40:21 05/18/02 Sat

>She simply had to force herself to speak her mind.

>Finally, she again locks eyes with the stallion, more

>slightly, for it is such an odd word to say aloud, and

>I did not. I have loved you... The thought of a love
