She chided in her best playful tone, but she felt like her veins were jamming up with sludge as her eyes finally fell on the baby, and she was immediately unable to take them off of the cherubic figure who was dozing with a bit of a wrinkle in his brow. • She shrugged a little. "It's only cold a few months of the year... keeps you sharp." She grinned a bit - she was a nutter to enjoy putting on a drysuit and hopping in frigid waters but such was her passion... she couldn't explain it any better than she could stop it. She felt a strange attatchment to home, this state was her home, the beaches, where she'd grown up, and though she'd travelled the world, as she got older she found herself desiring these beaches more than ever. She knew more people than she could count that would happily host her in the little beach side hovels they rented for the offseason - she wasn't fancy, didn't require any high maintenance and would sleep on a couch thankfully - considering the house she lived in now. He swivelled his laptop around and showed her the large white washed property right on the beach- far from a hovel. His house here was rented- he figured it was about time he got himself a mortage- some investment for the future- and when he wasn't using it he could rent it out to holiday go-ers. "I asked the girl who looks after him now if she was interested in moving out there but she wants to start up school here with the money shes saved so I'll be looking for someone when we get out there... • She accepted the grilled cheese and took a hearty bite without hesitation, certain that he wouldn't have snuck any vegemite into this one. "Well, you know a pool has it's own benefits. • She laughed lightly, finishing off the piece of grilled cheese he gave her and getting up to rummage a glass from his cupboard and get herself a glass of water - she had only been in here a handful of times but she felt comfortable enough with him. It was true that she was dirty minded and could be as rough around the edges as the worst of them - she had, afterall, been a part of a mainly male dominated sport when she'd begun and had more male friends than female.
