She was settling into living in the same home as him - it was one thing to live in his home while he wasn't there, but quite another to co exist with him. While she still told herself that it was only a temporary situation, until he had better mobility and could look after the baby on his own a little better, she knew in her heart that if he asked her to stay on permanently now, she probably would. She wasn't nearly so scared of their relationship anymore. She'd had a request from her mother to bring Aaron by that morning so she'd been off with him - at Andre's insistence, leaving him at home. She made her way in the door with the baby on her hip - she was fairly convincing as a mother and she was proud of it - another great skill to add to her repetoire, even though it was out of place for her personality. Kicking the door shut behind her, she dropped the keys to her Jeep on the table just inside the door and called out for him. "Babe?"

He was sat, stoney faced in his chair, throwing a tennis ball against the wall boredly. He hated being so constricted- so de-masculinised, stuck in a bed or a chair, unable to even lift his son out of his crib properly. He was six months old already and he was crawling and getting into all kinds of trouble- trouble that Andre couldn;t stop him from getting into- Aislinn had to be there pretty much all the time to make sure nothing happened that Andre couldn't stop. She hardly noticed the lack of intonation in his voice as she moved through the house, taking Aaron's hat off and unzipping his jumper to rid him of it before setting him on the floor. "Mom was glad to see him - I think she's getting a little antsy that Peter hasn't settled down and had any grandchildren for her - so even though he's not her grandson, she loves to see him." She frowned but tried to hide it - she knew he was having a lot of trouble dealing with this so she tried to be as accomodating as she could be. It became obvious early on that surfing was a topic to stay away from in conversation and while she had offered to take some time off from training, he had insisted she keep going - she didn't know how she could please him there, but she tried. "Why don't we call Donna tonight and go out? Might lift your spirits a little bit..." She did try hard - it had surprised her at first, how she worked to keep him happy, until she realized that it was because she did love him. "It would be good for you." She frowned a little bit, watching him with concerned eyes fixed on his features. She knew things were difficult for him, but she wanted to help him - if he'd let her.
