Did I type that out loud?

"My nothe comthes off." 'Nuff said.

I really dig monster-of-the-week episodes and this was a good one. Just enough normal plot points to keep the regular arcs going, but still selfcontained. Thank you.

Notice the distinct lack of furor over Nina exposing her left breast. Perhaps it's just the right breasts that piss off the Bible Belt conservatives.

Does anybody know for sure whose puppets they were last night? They certainly appeared Hensonesque, but nowhere where they mentioned. Just the puppeteers' names were listed in the credits.

I will be very interested in other opinions about this ep.

Smile Time! You are so right about how great the show was, with the jingly songs and all, and also about the complete and utter creepiness of the Evil Puppets.

"Wee little puppet man." I am laughing right now thinking about Spike's reaction to puppet Angel.

The thing that laid me completely low was the transformation to vamp face. I lay back and kicked my legs and whooped like a madwoman.

I forgot the vamp face! That was a genius touch - it showed that someone was really paying attention to the details.

Was the way that the vamping moment was played totally straight. It punctured the normal heroic moment by the sheer silliness of *Angel being a puppet*. Really, I haven't been this entertained since forever.

...while we were watching the tape, "I'd love to see the game-face version of the puppet. They should do the morph thing." She looked at me as if I was psychotic...or is that psychic? I always mix those up.

Man, would I love to see a PuppetAngel/Count showdown.

Ditto to Spike, too.

And "My nose comes off" is now one of my favorite lines.

This episode was pure delight, start to finish. It might even make me forget about last week's.

If I hadn't been sitting on the floor when puppet Angel "vamped", I would've fallen off the couch. Screaming and kicking my feet sufficed.
