the phhillies winning the series in '80 was my single greatest fan memory as a youth. there were many memorable moments to that unbelievable season but in the end there are 2 that stick out and they both involved tug.

the first was obviously striking out willie wilson to end the game and the second was the parade. when the team rolled into jfk stadium, tug was holding up a copy of the philadelphia daily news that had a simple headline on the front cover "WE WIN!"...

this coming a week after the phils lost one of the best and classiest baseball men around, paul owens. it's been a tough week for sure...
