*Okay, before Max and Grim kidnap me again, I am a GLR.

*To me, Glory was the scariest and best villian.

*The introduction to Dawn.

*Tara became far more prominant, and I loved how well Amber played insane.

*Intro to Warrn.

*HOT INTERN! I mean Ben.

*The return of Drusilla.

*I liked Xander's long, lanky haircut.

*Joel Grey! OMG, an icon of Broadway in three episodes!!!

*The best episode ever, The Body, plus many many many other very good episodes. (Buffy vs. Dracula, Real Me, Family, Blood Ties, Weight of the World, The Gift...and lots of others.)

I love the freshness and camaraderie among the main characters, and I appreciate even more now the relative lightness, as compared to the later seasons, in Season One.

The Buffy/Angelus story line in Two was probably the peak of the entire run of the show, and the ending of "Becoming, part Two" was unbeatable. (In some part of my fantasy life, the show ends with the shot of the "You Are Now leaving Sunnydale;" after that, Buffy wanders the Earth. I'm not sad the show continued, but that would have been a mind-blowing finale.)

Three would probably rate even with the first two seasons, if not for the on/off/on/off, etc. relationship between Buffy and Angel. That was the one weak point in an otherwise great season.

The college-era show had strong points about each season, but none moved me as strongly as the first three seasons did, start to finish.

I agree with you there...I loved the whole Angel/Angelus storyline.
