But if you mean comic characters brought to life on the big screen, Hulk. Ang Lee gave a movie about the Hulk far more art than it deserved. The editing was frickin' brilliant.

X2 was also a lot of fun, but not nearly as well-made as Hulk (though it had more 'splody goodness, as well as JEAN!)
