Subject: Ram won't start when wet

I recently had a 3" lift kit on my 98 ram. Twice now it will not start when water gets in the engine compartment. The starter turns over but it will not fire up. It seems like it's flooded out or not getting any spark at all . Never had this problem at all. Need some help!! Lee in INDY.
