Subject: Throttle position sensor

I have a 95 eclipse GST with about 70,000 miles. The other day I was on the highway and when I went to step on the clutch, the car stalled. The battery light and oil light came on, I stepped on the gas and the lights turned off and the car seemed to start up again. It only seems to happen when slowing down. If I come to a complete stop the car would stall even if I have my foot on the clutch. I hear it can be the throttle body or throttle position sensor. Any help would greatly be appreciated...
