even at meetings people were like "ok, christina, you have insurance, erin - raffle" etc etc. and lately, when i have chimed in, its been disregarded or shot down. for example...at Jerry's when the dress code came up which was complete news to me, you all seemed to know about it, and i even said "what dress code?" and noone answered me, i had to figure it out from hearing you all talk, and then when i said something about not liking having a dress code for guests, people looked at me and then kept on talking about whatever they were talking about before i commented...ok fine i let it go. should i have been more aggresive about that? i guess so.>>>

the dress code thing came up in the car amongst three people on the drive TO jerry's. it wasnt like it was discussed for more than about five minutes before we got there. we happened to be at mandy moore together, and were looking around at the people working and thought about our own event.

if there was a majority of disagreeance on the dress code, then we probably wouldnt have it. but as it began, it seemed the majority agreed with it. it wasnt that ytour ideas were shot down, i think, but that they were not in the majority. its not like we're going to turn down a GUEST for wearing tennis shoes. but i am sure some people are curious about the tone of the event. and, we are representatives for rainn for the night. we are representatives of ourselves and the event we are putting on and of our sponsors. i think we SHOULD be dressed nice, regardless of what our guests look like. if im not in the majority about that, thats fine. but as of that night, i was.

and i still stand by what i said. you shouldn't have to be ASKED to offer up information. about the venues...someone, i forgot who, ran into a girl who had a party at the roxy recently, and it was a thousand dollars for her to rent it for a night, equipment currently there and all.
