also i thought we wanted the auction during the event to end at the end of the event so that any high bidders still in attendance could pay and pick up those items if they wanted to do so at the time. if people see that these are also on ebay i dont think theyre going to be as encouraged to bid at the event and then they'll think that they can go to ebay and bid, but then they might forget. i think it would be better if we keep the two auctions seperate, and at the event also promote any online auctions we might have by having those items there.

i dont think we should post anything on ebay just for a notice of advertisment because ebay's not free and i think if we're going to post something on ebay it should be because it should be an ebay auction.>>


im actually not worried about people saying, "ill ebay later." ebay isnt free, but if we were going to relist it, that would be free anyway.

because in a person to person silent auction, you CANT start bids out at $35. its just ridiculous, even if its worth twice that amount. the point of a silent auction is that it goes what it goes for. you do NOT generally have "minimums." it defeats the entire idea. that, if anything, discourages bids.
