The wingli could stare, and stare some more. The first thing he does but stare, is close the mouth he let hang agape. Having stood during the process, at her side and grasping her hand as the proper father should. Now, he moves forward, peering down at the wriggling bundle that he was still rather stunned with, knowing it was his own, and a halfling. Every trace of knowledge, about shunned halfings by his forefathers, vanishes. He says nothing, but is apparently joyed and shocked over anything else...
