In a basement corner
A forgotten bureau sits
Old linens
Swiss cheese sweaters
Signs of moth, signs of mice
A lace covered box
Holds youthful memories
A favorite poem
Cigarband ring
Grams treasured pearls
Blue ribboned letters
Held closely to my breast
Every word etched in my heart
For a package of minutes
We were together again
