Please accept my apology for using the word "tribe" Had I read the section on Native American Ettiquite I would have known better. If I didn't know it was an offensive word, and I had not meant it in an offensive way, that there are probably a lot of other people who don't realize they are saying an offensive word. When people used the "n" word or "boy" for African Americans, it was meant as an insult, and herein lies the difference. White folks knew that was an insult. This is not to say that racist remarks are not made by white folks to Native Americans. It is further confusing to white folks when some Native American Indian Nations refer to themselves officially as a Tribe. In any case, please accept my apologies, no insult was intended.
