I think that tarot ties into knowledge and awareness outside of ourselves like our spirit guides. But I think the pendulum is largely influences by our subconscious and deeper wishes. Chances are both of you really wanted the baby to come then. Pendulums are good for connecitng with your subconscious or for checking into current things...such as checking the energy level of something, or helping you decide something you are on the fence about and torn either way. But in asking the question you are likely to get the answer you most want, not necessarilly the answer that is best or gives you any more info on the future. i do not use pendulums for anything in regards to telling future events. Tarot and runes are much better tools for that type of need. Runes are easier. With tarot I still am of the old school and thinkg that the closer your deck and spreads are to the most traditional, the more accurate your readings. The biggest problem in regards to accuracy in reading anything is always the human factor or our INTERPRETATION of what we see. in other words i believe the message is always correct....but our interpretation is where error occurs. All of that aside, you have got rampant hormones right now and that can interfere with a good and accurate reading!! better to use your energy to focus on serenity and being in atune with your body and spirit.
