Hi!
I have another question from the same chapter.
When aqueous sodium hydroxide was added to aqueous zinc chloride, a white ppt,V,was formed.This ppt dissolved in excess of sodium hydroxide to form a colourless solution in which zinc was present as a salt,W.Identify V & W.

Could u pls explain how u arrive at your answers. Thanks!!!

hi shufei,
For V, it is zinc hydroxide[Zn(OH)2]. the equation is NaOH + ZnCl2 -> NaCl + Zn(OH)2. However for the other i am not quite sure... pls ask Mr Yeo.
