So.. there was a change made today in the game, which, when you slide-cast tells you, "You have moved too far to complete your spell!"
Or some such garbage. Might not sound like a big deal to non mage players.. *is* a pretty bug deal to those of us for whom it is meat and potatos to be able to do.
There is more than a small percentage of posts on the Thistledown IGN/VN boards at acvault today which basically say, and this is even a direct quite:
"Mages got the finger and I am happy."
I am sick and tired of catching crap from people all the time on that board and in game (excluding my friends and clanmates) for being a mage. Rather than being irritated that there are some limitations on melee and archer characters not present for mages, they HATE mages, and post juvenile, gloating things when something like this crops up.
The mages got thhe shaft. Time to celebrate!
The mages suck, they are too powerful.
All content is for mages only!

I refuse to bother reading/posting on that board. I don't know why I ever bothered, but consider me officially jaded. I'll stick to hanging out with the people I already know in game and helping them, but to heck with the rest of the server, if they represent it, as I know all too well they do.
Just needed a venting place.. sorry!
I wish more people in game behaved like the members of our monarchies, and had mutual respect for each other, I guess. It takes a long time to irritate me but I am there with those morons.
