What fun! :)
Question for ya, though...
You're in an area, and you spot an olthoi brood noble. You and your hunting partner decide to engage it. It's a big struggle and it takes a loooooooong time because the creature regens like mad.
Several people in the local area stop to ask if they can assist, and, because you and your hunting partner are curious how long it will take for the OBN to fall, you decline assistance politely. They wish you good luck and move on to the next OBN.
Now, some very un-nice person comes up and decides that you and your hunting partner are not doing enough damage quick enough, that he deserves the kill. You ask him "please, no" (using that exact verbiage), and yet, he jumps in. "You two aren't killing him. You're not doing any damage."
DO YOU...
A) Continue fighting, ignoring him and "sharing" any potential experience from this kill,
OR
B) Leave him with the monster, since he's adamant that you're not doing sufficient damage to it, anyway.
?????
I chose option B, myself. Maybe it's not the best, but I had politely asked him to leave - NOT TO MENTION THE FACT that everyone else in the area was asking everyone else working on an OBN if they could help, etc.
He got angry.
Later, Brute and I saw him run away from that OBN. IRL, I had to laugh.
So, what's the official word, Doc, how should I handle a situation like this in the future???
