Gu bristles at the interplay between Nevashi and Korisva, slim ears flat against a streamlined skull, but he doesn't vocalize a protest. As scent returns, he relaxes not, but his eyes narrow at the sight of the healed wound and his own tail blade cocks next to his left hip, Gu's preferred preparation to strike. The female's arrogant words bother him not - it's something he might say himself, were he in her place. But right now, she is a threat. Akartis turns, nuzzles Ayrist briefly, and coils his longer tail around Gu's. The pale-furred adolescent looks surprised and flicks a glance at his brother, who shakes his narrow muzzle slightly. With an impassive snort, Gu pulls his tail from Akartis' grasp and draws himself to his full height... of about three and a half feet. [This was changed from earlier height of four feet.] But the act of withdrawing from his aggressiveness and rising above it is easily seen in his now-detached gaze. Akartis grins, then settles back on his haunches, his younger brother mimicking him. "We wait," he announces in Kalash, winking at Seleth but otherwise ignoring both Devan and Esaki. After all, Mystery, TFD, and his mother need to be present before anything can be done.
