**You can hear the sound of a short-legged creature running --- well, scurrying, through the grass, from the direction of the Shadowlands. Looking towards the noise, all you see at first are two strange spots of colour...every imaginable colour seems to be held within those two large round spots. But looking closer, you see a slight warp in the ground around it -- and vaguely, the shape of a large (think a little bigger than a beagle) rat can be made out. He lets out a loud chattering sound**
