Even as the hundred-strong army of Cybertronians approached the battle raging near Velocity, so too was a swarm slipping past the moon and towards Cybertron itself.

The squadron approached fiercely, battle cries wafting through the empty space between them and the Swarm, yet falling on deaf ears.

The Swarm approached silently, yet with a purpose.

The two forces met. The squadron fought valiantly, clashing against the ungodly things confronting them.

Yet they weren't enough to stop the second wave. Horror filled the sparks of all gathered, as they watched a second large swarm fly past them...and directly towards the planet's surface...
