Subject: Your Son The Journalist!

"How do you feel about your son being a journalist?"

As a personal note I have sent a number of my children on to college and the one thing that was constant is that when they each left for college I became more of a "coach" than a "decision maker" in their lives".

So my second question relates to when you and your son cover the same Iona basketball game. I am sure from time to time the both of you will have differing opinions and that you would never try to change your son's journalistic integrity. However, "Does Ruland and the Iona administration realize that you personally have no control over what your son reports?" And "Has your relationship changed any with the people at Iona since your son started covering the sporting events?"
