Dear StagFan:
I loved Sam Spann last year. Hard-nosed guy. If there was a most improved player of the year award, he would have gotten it. The lack of a quality point guard has plagued the Stags of late. Addition of 6-10 Ajou Deng should help inside. Jermaine Clark can shoot you in or out of any game. Fairfield's loss to No. 9 Loyola in MAAC tournament last year was a dreadful performance. Rob Thomson has to really do something big this year. Tim O'Toole is a class act and a Westchester guy, so I'm hoping he gets it going this year.
