I could have written that at one time, so please, please understand that I understand and I feel for you. I also know (and I really hate to put a blame on anything, but this is real and not an excuse to be irresponsible) that those feelings you have and the "being" that is expressing IS due to the illness of depression.
So, in knowing that, I say Do what you think you must, BUT I am here for you, You have done nothing wrong, You are not wrong, You can't hurt anybody here, We love you as you are, and I could go on and on, but this too shall pass (and yes you are left with the consequences, but then in a world of people not understanding depression, WHO but us can you turn to). I understand YOU don't want to reach out, but I am ASKING you to please don't seclude yourself from us. Just keep in touch by saying "Hello, I'm here" once a day and you don't have to respond to anyone or say anything further.
This too shall pass, my friend.
