The silver back of the ebony mare glared in the moonlight. SHe slept peacefully with child by her side. Her ears flickered in the wind that had come up so sudden.
The peaceful sleep she had taken on was quickly stirred. Her golden eyes shot open as she gently pulled herself up to her feet.
Nudging her dear sister she urged her awake.
"Ney, my fair sister. PLease. I leave thy tiny babe in your hands." She muttered into the dappled unicorn's ear. The tiny silver nodded and trodded over to the sleeping child. SHe lay down next to him and cuddled up.
"where are thee going?" Rociel messaged to her. Leusciuos had all ready cantered down the rock tower, she looked confused searching all horizons. The towers in the east, mountains in the south, endless fields to the west, and The Icy caverns to the north.
"I do not know. My heart has been shaken, for I fear my Pele' has been bestowed with a danger so great that I may need a second hand." Her nostrils tested the air. The message of pure wicked magic clouded her mind.
She emitted an earpiercing war cry and reared up. Her golden eyes flashed red, for she had awoken the fire element she had stored away so long ago. The resin glow emitted with a ferocious spark, and her horn was once again burning in it's molten red flame. Caressing her coiled horn like waves to the sandy beaches.
"I fear for not only my pele. . . yet for myself as well. FOr if he shant return. . . then nay shall I. Rociel. I am going to find my dear Pele', when Luchasse is awoken in the dawn. Send me note, and hither to. I shall return a message conveying where I am. Be careful my sister. This is a journey I must do myself. I cannot be greedy and risk the lives of other Unicorns in this matter." Leuscious said, finally pointing north, directly into the moonlight.
Rociel watched with uncertainty.
"Goodluck my sister. Be safe.. . . be wise." Rociel messaged as she watched the scarlet red glow fade off into the northern distance.
