Author: James "Da Maniac" Jones
Subject: Sinister Traits [WeWA Communication Breakdown rP]

- The FedWars.Com World Champion was seen being dropped off outside a training facility without a gear bag or anything of the sort. James Jones was not dressed for training, wearing his black cloak over a shirt, which too was black, though still a change to his normal outfit. His black jeans seemed to have been ironed, as the creases were non-existent, though their age were really beginning to shot. "Da Maniac" breathed in the cold, musty air of a Thursday afternoon, poised to be interviewed for the first time in months. It wasn't something he wanted to do, but with Communication Breakdown right around the corner, he felt one interview would be more adequate than a Promo. Or at least, grudgingly he felt that. Jones awkwardly scratched his head, scanning his watch quickly. '3.49' it read. Jones shrugged his shoulders and walked into the training facility, which in actual fact was closed down. Only old equipment and a bust ring with tatters in it's canvas was what was in the run-down one room. James looked quite surprised at this sight, obviously not familiar with this area of town. He walked over to the corner to where already sitting down was Anthony Manson, once a Reporter of the hWo, a federation James Jones' friend Mr. Corm Duffy had ran and owned. Manson greeted James with a flick of his eyebrows. These two had met before, and neither liked the other, though Anthony tried not to show it. Jones tensed his shoulders and sat down on the chair provided for him - an old, creaky one that was on its last legs undoubtedly. Anthony leant forward and extended his hand, but Jones popped a peppermint into his mouth, began chewing and ignored the gesture. Manson looked bewildered, but tried his best not to let it affect him. He had an Interview to do. -

[ MANSON ] "Sitting beside me is the former 4-time MCW World Champion and current FedWars.Com World Heavyweight Champion, James "Da Maniac" Jones. James fights Ric Righteous, the eWrestling.Org World Champion in two weeks' time at Communication Breakdown, the WeWA's upcoming extravaganza. James, what must be going through your mind leading up to this fight? Do you feel pressurised by such an occasion?"

- Jones raised his eyebrows, offended by Manson's question, but decided not to comment on it or snap at him. He had to conduct himself as controlled as possible for the Interview. After that; who gave a damn? -

[ MANiAC ] "Seems you don't know me very well, Manson. If you did know me even slightly well, you'd be aware that I never feel pressurised. Be it one thousand people watchin' me on their television sets or millions throughout the world; it does not affect me. To be blatantly obvious with you Manson, I'll only relish the whole night and fight. At the same time, don't think that it's all goin' to me head before I'm even involved in the fight. Ric Righteous possesses the title that is the answer to any question I have ever asked. What if? What if I was on top of the world - could I help the MCW get the credit it deserves? This no longer is a 'what if' of a question...it's a statement; WHEN I am on top of the world - I will help the MCW get the credit it deserves. Confident? No. Logical? Most definitely. Ric can let the days pass by and really make himself believe that he has a genuine chance to become the top man in the WeWA. He can become such a liar and good persuader that he'll actually begin to believe himself. It shall only further the reality of his downfall. No stupid last-grasp threats here; just a damned prediction. I cannot stress the importance of this fight to me as a whole. Not just the stakes...not just the venue or event, but all of it packed into ONE fight. It gives me a rush of excitement. It EXHILERATES me. At times durin' the last week I have not been able to conceal my excitement, and alas, I have got to the stage at times where the excitement takes me over. Righteous may have done it all before in the BACW, even when it was known as the WeWA, but I'm confident that he has never come face-to-face with someone who has genuinely wanted somethin' as much as I want the eWrestlin'.Org Title that HE possesses. I'm not just sayin' this to further my point; I MEAN it. This Title WILL escalate the MCW to the top rank, but more importantly; it will escalate my career up a notch or two, and I shall once and for all be heard and noticed. No longer shall I be 'the little MCW guy'. After Communication Breakdown I will be THE guy in wrestlin'. It's not a witty comment...it's not meant to make you laugh. In fact, it's the f*ckin' truth."

- James sat back in his chair, really wanting Anthony Manson to go so he could act like he usually does, and not like some puppet. And plus, the shirt really was annoying him now. How he ever managed to put it on him was beyond him now. -

[ MANSON ] "Fair enough, you're not going to be in awe of such a huge match with such high stakes, but you still are facing someone that, in all due respect, you don't know a damn thing about."

[ MANiAC ] "That's where you're wrong again, Anthony. Despite the fact that Ric Righteous was never a part of the MCW and indeed I was never a part of the BACW or WWW, I've got plenty of contacts. They were a tough nut to crack in the beginnin', but I've got what I want now. Footage. The old Ric Righteous of the BACW. The newer one in the WWW. And the present day one from last Saturday Night when he made his dramatic comeback. I've spent countless hours on end watchin' and studyin' with keen interest, evaluatin' the flaws of his in-ring ability. Oh yes, even the "mighty" Ric Righteous has flaws. Many of which I will take advantage of when the time is right in our match. Anthony, I know things about Ric Righteous that you more than likely don't know about him. I can't read him like a book, no, but I know more than enough to know what to expect from Righteous at Communication Breakdown. I shall be quite weary of the threat of outside interference -- even I know how corrupt this organisation has gone. I can't predict the future; I don't know if there shall be any involvement from a third party in the fight, but I'll have one eye all the time keepin' a close watch on happenin's around me as well as with Ric Righteous. He will be in for a pleasant surprise at Communication Breakdown."

[ MANSON ] "A surprise? So you're admittin' to the fact that Ric Righteous is the favourite to come out with both Titles in this match?"

[ MANiAC ] "Yeah. I'm havin' an illusion of my own. I know a lot more people know about Ric Righteous than about me. It's not somethin' I'm all too worked-up about, however. It means in turn that the onus is on Ric to strike the first blow and see how it affects me. Will I fall? If not; will I stumble? How will I react? These are the most important questions that need to be addressed by the viewers of our fight. Righteous is better known, yes. More successful? It depends on the way you look at it. More likely to win..?"

- Jones cannot contain his laughter now, as he bursts out into a mad frenzy of genuine, sick laughter, which takes Anthony by surprise. He shifts back slightly, giving "Da Maniac" enough room to let off steam. -

[ MANiAC ] "I'm sorry, am I sick, or was that just funny?? No disrespect to Ric Righteous intended, but he is comin' into a fight with a man who was ran down by a car and in the same night became World Champion. He is comin' into a fight with a man that jumped 30 feet with a Hypnosis execution off a balcony just to win the Tag Team Title. Ric Righteous is comin' into a fight with a man who is hell-bent on destruction, and will not rest until he has caused what he comes to do. Righteous doesn't know me...how the hell could he? The MCW, the place I have worked for over two years don't even know me. You ask anybody with half a wrestlin' brain and they'll all tell you that I'm one of the most unpredictable people they have ever witnessed. Which leads me back to where I began. I know a lot about Ric Righteous, but he knows the bare minimum, if even, about me. Now he can come on screen and tell the world that he does actually know a lot about me and knows what I will do in the fight, hell, I'm expectin' him to do that. But...pay no heed. When men are backed into a corner, they become desperate. They become so frantic and nervous that they come out with comments that help relieve the mental pain. Ric Righteous is, whether he knows it or not, one of these people. He has been backed into a corner with me, with no short-cuts to take and nowhere to escape to. Oh this isn't a ramblin' just to make myself look tough, this is the truth. And to all the doubters, the non-believers, the cynics; Communication Breakdown shall be a big f*ck you directed to each one of you. I'll show you why the bringer of the phenomenon never fails when the stakes are high."

[ MANSON ] "And if there's going to be..."

- Anthony Manson is stopped in mid-sentence by James Jones, who holds up his hand, a disgruntled look appearing on his face from nowhere. He looks into the eyes of Manson and leans forward. -

[ MANiAC ] "Anthony, I hope this isn't goin' to screw up this Interview, but I'm gunna have to cut it short. I'm not feelin' too well. In fact, I think I ate too much curry earlier and all I want to do now is find a toilet and --"

[ MANSON ] "WHOA! All right, all right. No problem James, just please don't get into the gorey details. I'll go on what I've got, and maybe we can cram another short Interview in before Communication Breakdown if it suits. It's been a pleasure."

- Manson stands up and shakes Jones' hand, and walks off immediately, without saying anything else. James Jones looks genuinely surprised that Anthony had believed him and had decided to up and leave that easily. According to Duffy, Anthony was the type of guy who would never get the hint and go away. But here he was; buying James' bullsh*t like a young, innocent and unaware kid. Anthony closes the door behind him and leaves James Jones alone in the room with a cameraman, the FedWars.Com title belt draped over the Irishman's burly shoulder. He let out a satisfied sigh, and popped another peppermint, chewing vigorously on it. -

[ MANiAC ] "The sweet sound of nothin'. Listen to it Ric. Observe how it coils itself around you, and makes you think about the problems that await you once the sounds return. The problems for you are unsolvable, at least the ones associated with me and Communication Breakdown. The problem of your eWrestlin'.Org bein' taken from you is not one that has a solution. Neither is the one of your career bein' in jeopardy. I'm not tryin' to scare you, Ric, God knows just thinkin' about an imbalanced lunatic as your next opponent is scary enough in itself. What I am doin', however, is openin' your eyes. You believe in your own superiority over me...that's the message I've gathered from your BACW return last week when you basically p*ssed all over the BACW that has kept the MCW out of the fold for too long. In doin' that you basically spelt out the belief you possess in your own ability to defeat ANYONE. My, my, how you really should have acted differently. I've yet to hear from you on your thoughts about our huge fight at Communication Breakdown, so it's quite hard for me to put words into your mouth. What I will say is that if you think that this just another obstacle in your path; you couldn't be further from the reality of this situation. I'm not an obstacle, Ric, that would be too easy for you to overcome. What I look on myself as is more of a blown up road-block. It's not one of those things you can drive around either, in case you were lookin' for the easy way out. No, this makes you really struggle and sweat it out. C'mon Ric, why is it that on any tape I've seen as you, you've never been sweatin' like you should be? You even looked complacent in some particular fights, thinkin' that your name would get you through it. Well this isn't the BACW, nor is it the WWW. Damn it Ric, this is the WeWA, and this is MY PRIME. You don't disrespect me like you would to your average Tom or Joe...you don't even look funny at me. 'Cause I'm not just an opponent for you, Ric...I'm your disdainful nemesis."

- It's old school James Jones now. He was now in rhythm and no longer was anything like the person we had seen ten minutes talking to Anthony Manson rather than spitting out the words as he was doing now. "Da Maniac" rips his shirt to shreds off his body to reveal a black t-shirt, with a picture of the WeWA logo beside James Jones' name and the words 'Sitting On The Throne'. Jones kicks at the old and battered chair that he had been sitting on, which topples over noisily. -

[ MANiAC ] "And do not ever try to change that. The consequences will be even more fatal than what I plan on doin' to you at Communication Breakdown. Not because you hold the eWrestlin'.Org Title or because you hate the guts of every BACW superstar...but because you were part of the reason why the MCW, and more importantly me, was shadowed out. We were kept in the dark while the BACW got the top network deal, and the rest of us had to linger on performin' on second-rate stations with half the viewers. For a long time Ric I thought that I'd retire in the same position as I started -- behind the BACW. But times have changed...and from my point of view; it's for the better."

[ MANiAC ] "They told us that our day would come. All of the promoters of wrestlin', from Mr. Batee to The Phantom Booker, they all told us that one day we would get our opportunity to shine, and leave the BACW for dead. And for a while I believed them. I don't know why, but I honestly believed that if someone as influential in the world of wrestlin' as these men were, said it, then I felt it would just be a formality before it came to pass. Slowly my patience thinned to a point where I abandoned hope and came entangled in a swarm of mixed anger and despair. I now looked at these men as liars, knowin' only full well that they never thought we would make it as big as Bad ASS Championship Wrestlin' were. It was only then that I lost ALL hope, and possessed not even a shred of it. For me I felt abandoned and lost, but vowed to battle on in the event of even a slight breakthrough. Finally, the opportunity has opened up. Under the circumstances that Mike Cavanaugh left the BACW, it was rocked. Lawrence Law is still re-building it and attemptin' to return it to its past greatness, but before he can do that, I've got the sole chance to crush the BACW into OUR shadow. By defeatin' you, Ric Righteous, and becomin' THE man of the WeWA with both the FedWars.Com Title AND eWrestlin'.Org Title, I would have my name mentioned everywhere, and with it, would be the letters 'MCW'. And so our day really and truly has come. It's right around the corner, whether anyone realises it or not. Ric Righteous will be introduced to the Hypnosis, and will be unable to come to terms with its beautiful results on his body. And then we shall have our in the light."

- Jones walked ever closer to the camera now, his breathing becoming increasingly faster and more obvious to be heard. He flicked back his hair but did not blink, still glaring at the camera. -

[ MANiAC ] "It's like they said; Our day will come..."

- "Da Maniac" grabbed up the old chair and was in two minds as to what to do with it. He decided on slamming it down on the ground, softly enough so it would be break the old thing. Jones grabbed his torn shirt and tossed it over an old running machine, walking towards the door. He turned and took a look at the camera, a grin spreading over his face. -

[ MANiAC ] "Tiocfaidh àr là...go luath." **

- With these words, spoken in his native Irish language, Jones turns and walks out of the door and out of the old, abandoned training facility and out into the brighter, more alive world. The weather was colder now, and Jones wished he had never torn off that shirt. Still, he thought, once I'm the main man, I can buy stuff like that. -

STATIC.

** = Our day will come...early.

So am I still waiting
For this world to stop hating?
Can't find a good reason
Can't find hope to believe in.

Drop dead - a bullet to my head
Your words are like a gun in hand.
You can't change the state of the nation
We just need some motivation.
Three times casino eviction
Just lies and more contradiction.

So tell me what would you say
I'd say its up: to me.

So am I still waiting
For this world to stop hating?
Can't find a good reason
Can't find hope to believe in.

Ignorance and understanding
We're the first ones to jump in line.
Out of step for what we believe in
But who's left, To start the pleading?
How far will we take this?
It's not hard to see through the sickness.

So tell me what would you say?
I'd say its up: to me

So am I still waiting
For this world to stop hating?
Can't find a good reason
Can't find hope to believe in.

This can't last forever
Time won't make things better.
I feel so alone
Can't help myself.
And no one knows
If this is worthless
Tell me: so

What have we done?
We're in a war that can't be won.
This can't be real
I don't know what to feel.

So am I still waiting
For this world to stop hating?
Can't find a good reason
Can't find hope to believe in.

So am I still waiting
For this world to stop hating?
Can't find a good reason
Can't find hope to believe in.
