Richard / All, I believe there is considerable interest in taking ARP to the Continent.
ARP went to Zandvoort in 1990 and it was tremendous fun.
There are series in France and Italy very similar to ARP and I know there is a good deal of interest in ARP in Italy.
The Dutch are great motor racing fans and I am sure they would like to have us over there.
It is my intention to try to contact the European series organisors. The BRSCC might prove be too problematical to organise a round of the ARP championship abroad. We may have do consider allowing European drivers to race in UK on an 'Invitation' basis. Tony B. would have to consider a rule change to allow 'invited' European drivers and cars to run ( without Championship points)thereby waiving ARP joining fees etc.
I am just free thinking here.
I am on holiday in the U.S. from this weekend until the 27th. I will make a start on contacting people in Europe when I return.
Richard, perhaps you would like to pursure the BRSCC angle?
Does anyone else have a view or would they like to get involved?
Regards to All.
Roger.
