Is there a general desire to run an ARP race somewhere other than the UK?

Personally I would vote for a race weekend at Spa, even if it couldn't be included in the Championship, it would be fun to do. Double header weekend away would be ace from my point of view.

There are loads of implications I know for transport, organisation etc and there is I believe some implication regarding licences (Nat B, if we are gpoing to change the rule, wouldn't be accepted I think) but if there is a general desire to have a weekend away, it surely can't be beyond the wit of the entire ARP grid to get it together.

By the way, I think it is one way to encourage more cars into the series, as it would be percieved as a really sexy addition to the calendar (rather than two weekends at Castle Combe) and for some of our more northerly based competitors, probably no harder to get to than Combe!

What does anyone else think?

If there is interest and the work load for getting it together is heavy, I would be happy to take on some of the administration if it would help.

Richard
