Thanks Tess. I appreciate the support. I don't think an attorney can help me at this point. I've got my SSDI, they just need to start paying me. My problem is my private LTD insurance. Right now I have to do the administrative appeal. And even when that's done the case isn't worth much cash so the three attorneys I spoke to weren't too eager to help me. My LTD insurance pays for our family's health insurance and that's what I'm so upset about. We really need it and Medicare won't pay for my meds. Even when the drug benefit goes into effect in 2006 it won't help me much. I'm on too many meds.

I'm seeing an FMS specialist in SLC. We're doing a bunch of testing so I have what the LTD insurance wants: objective evidence. My primary diagnosis has been changed from Fibromyalgia to Chronic Fatigue Immune Deficiency Syndrome. The tests are frustrating. . . the fitness/cardiac test was done by a doctor who told me I'd feel better if I'd exercise and lose weight. NO KIDDING!!! Idiot!

Anyway . . . thanks for the suggestions and support. I'm so sad you've had puter problems. They can be frustrating too and expensive, especially when we don't have money coming in.

(((hugs))) you're always in my prayers,
Alison
