This goes out especially to Susan. Sorry I didn't post earlier, I have just been really busy. Anyway, my friend called me Thursday morning (around 11). She even asked if she had scared me. She is ok... they took A LOT of blood to run tests on and even put an IV in her hand. Yesterday (Friday) she called me back after I had called her. She had an allergic reaction to some type of medication they gave her for her Migraines. Luckily she is ok!!! When she called yesterday afternoon, she told me how she wouldn't get to go home because of it now and how she felt so bad with missing the first two days of school so far. Last night, she called me again. She wanted her husband to go home and rest and even eat something. I think he hasn't even gone to work since she went in. He refused to leave her side, though. She then asked if she was to call me if he would go and he said yes. She called me, I missed her call but 10 minutes later I noticed I had a "missed" call and called her back. I went up to the hospital and visited with her for about an hour and a half. She told me she might get to go home today (Sat). She also told me how her doc is being a whacko and everything; I could hear some of the stuff he was saying last night. I stayed with her until she FINALLY gave into the pain patches they put on her back and was drifting off to sleep; plus, her husband was already on the way back to the hospital. She is most likely going to call me sometime today and is DEFINITELY calling me when she gets to go home/is at home, and I am going to go over to her house to keep her company and such. I also believe that she wants me there just so that she will have someone to talk to who isn't family (if ya'll know what I mean). I let her know that if she needs anything or whatever that I will do it FOR her!!! I am hoping that this coming week she won't be allowed to go back to work yet and ESPECIALLLY after school practices. I will keep you all posted when I hear from her again.
