A soft tenor 'voice' sounds. Congratulations, Amenth. An excellent clutch. Xesath pokes his blue muzzle into the Weyr's Sands just long enough to glimpse the brilliant queen egg, before withdrawing and settling into his temporary post as watchdragon. Following his exit, the dragon's rider enters the Grounds, stepping lightly and his strides graceful. He bends in a deep bow to Dilly before stopping near her and seating himself. Flicking one strand of chestnut hair out of his dark eyes, he smiles. "You called, m'lady?" Without waiting for a response, he swivels his head and counts. "Twenty-nine. Impressive, my dear," he directs at Amenth with a twinkle in his eye. "Large and healthy, instead of many and weak." His fine-boned features shift into an expression of politeness and concentration as he turns back to his Weyrwoman. She called him for a reason, now, didn't she?
